Unlock isn’t a casual share link. Soft launch’s strongest path uses death-certificate–class evidence, human review under your settings, and a waiting period you can cancel while signed in. Check-ins are a convenience path only. We don’t pronounce death, run probate, or replace a will or power of attorney.

It does not replace a will, power of attorney, or a court’s role—and we won’t pretend it does. For instruments that must hold up where you live, work with a qualified attorney; use Stashed so the people you name can find what you left them.
